Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Director of Schools & Services to oversee systems supporting students with complex learning and behavioral needs. You will ensure IEP compliance, foster collaboration across teams, and drive positive outcomes for students and families.

This leadership role requires a master’s degree in a related field, Pennsylvania certification, and proven experience leading IEP processes and staff development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in special education or related field.
• PA Special Education certification (Level I or II).
• At least two years in a lead role supporting students with learning or behavioral challenges.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance.

What You’ll Need

• Master’s degree in special education, ABA, social work, or a related field
• Must have Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching certification (Instructional Level I or II)
• At least two years of experience in a lead role supporting students with learning or behavioral challenges
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance requirements
• Ability to collaborate, lead training, and build relationships with families and districts
