New Story Schools in Pennsylvania seeks a Special Education Director to guide the campus instructional vision, ensure state standards, and lead curriculum, compliance, and behavior management for students with autism and developmental challenges.

You will supervise teachers, manage the IEP process with families and districts, oversee the budget, and build partnerships with families and community partners to sustain high-quality programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• PA certification in Special Education or Supervisor of Special Education required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in special education, including four in a leadership or teaching role.
• Strong knowledge of PDE regulations, IEP development, and curriculum design for diverse learners.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

As the Special Education Director at New Story Schools, you will lead the academic and instructional vision for your campus, ensuring that all programs meet state standards and deliver exceptional outcomes for students with emotional and developmental needs. You’ll guide teachers and staff in curriculum development, compliance, and behavior management while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and student growth.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred
