Overview

One of America's largest retailers is seeking a Director of Salesforce to join their growing company! The Director of Salesforce will spearhead high-performing Salesforce teams in a dynamic environment, driving organizational success through innovative solutions and strategic leadership. This pivotal role involves cross-departmental collaboration to integrate various systems and technologies, ensuring the successful deployment of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic vision to effectively manage and execute initiatives using Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. Note: This position allows fully remote working or being based in Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a dynamic Salesforce team, overseeing the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Salesforce modules, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Salesforce strategy aligned with the organization's long-term business objectives

  • Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce administrators, developers, and analysts

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Salesforce strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies and their potential organizational benefits

  • Liaise with Salesforce and third-party vendors to ensure service levels are met and issues are resolved

  • Evaluate and implement best practices, tools, and technologies to advance Salesforce capabilities and drive innovation

  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the Salesforce ecosystem and across the organization

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce, with a focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud,and Commerce Cloud.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing Salesforce teams in complex, enterprise-level environments

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, with the ability to architect and implement scalable solutions.

  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce products, integrations, and customization capabilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives, manage resources effectively, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or Salesforce certifications are a plus

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing Salesforce teams in complex, enterprise-level environments

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, with the ability to architect and implement scalable solutions

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
