THE OPPORTUNITY

The Director of Sales, USSOCOM position is a remote role reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, USA. The successful individual will participate in all aspects of the sales cycle for existing and emerging markets/channels in the USSOCOM market.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Management: Direct and oversee the entire sales process, targeting customers in line with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Business Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with partners and customers in the USSOCOM market.
  • Event Support: Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer events as needed to support sales development.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on trends and changes in the market that may impact our company's positioning.
  • Pipeline Management: Contribute to building a robust pipeline of business opportunities and regularly update the CRM database.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our MIMO solutions.
  • Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric approach in all dealings.
  • Maintain an annual revenue quota to support the Company’s annual growth objectives.
  • Maintain a CRM database to ensure visibility of current and future pursuits and opportunities.
  • Travel Requirements: May require travel 1 - 2 weeks per month.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college plus a minimum of 4 years relevant sales or business development experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated business development and sales experience in military/government markets.
  • Track record of successful sales of MANET and/or radio solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of working with resellers and distributors on a national scale.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Demonstrated business development and sales experience in autonomous military systems.
  • Working understanding of alternative MANET technologies.
  • Knowledge of military applications.
  • Military/Aerospace industry and acquisition experience.
  • Solid understanding of US DoD funding and procurement cycles.
  • US Government clearance at SECRET level; OR the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance within 12 months of start date.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Trade shows.
  • Lift equipment up to 20 lbs. for demo setup.
  • Walking/Moving in the labs.

COMPENSATION

The pay range is based on market research and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

US Pay Range: $115,000 - $145,000 USD

NOTE: As a U.S. Federal Contractor, Silvus Technologies requires that ALL candidates must be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen).
