The Opportunity:

As our Director of Manufacturing & Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our production capabilities while preserving the exceptional quality that makes our products effective. Working directly with our founder Vasu and our scientific advisors, you'll lead our manufacturing strategy, strengthen key partnerships, and implement systems that enable sustainable growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Manufacturing Strategy : Develop and implement our manufacturing roadmap to support ambitious growth goals while maintaining product integrity
  • Enhance Production Processes : Optimize manufacturing operations for our organic supplements, focusing on efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • Strengthen Partner Relationships : Build and maintain strong partnerships with manufacturing partners, creating collaborative relationships that drive mutual success
  • Implement Quality-Focused Systems : Develop and document standardized processes that ensure consistent product excellence
  • Drive Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement operational enhancements that improve efficiency without compromising quality
  • Manage Supply Chain : Oversee inventory planning, procurement, and logistics to ensure consistent availability of our supplements
  • Build Team Capability : Develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Support New Product Introduction : Partner with R&D to seamlessly transition new formulations from development to full-scale production
  • Manage Operational Budgets : Develop and oversee budgets that balance cost efficiency with quality requirements
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all manufacturing operations meet FDA, USDA Organic, and other applicable regulatory requirements

What Success Looks Like:

  • Within 90 days: Comprehensive understanding of current manufacturing processes and initial optimization plan developed
  • Within 6 months: Implementation of key process improvements and documentation systems
  • Within 9 months: Measurable improvements in production efficiency with zero compromise to quality standards
  • Within 12 months: Successfully scaled manufacturing capacity to support 40%+ business growth
  • By 18 months: Established robust operational systems that support continued expansion

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of progressive operations management experience, with at least 3-5 years in supplement, nutraceutical, or natural product manufacturing
  • Proven success scaling production operations while maintaining stringent quality standards
  • Experience managing co-manufacturing relationships and partnerships
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations and cGMP requirements for dietary supplements
  • Background implementing manufacturing systems and operational excellence initiatives
  • Experience with USDA Organic production highly valued
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

Location and Compensation:

This position is based in Tampa, Florida with some flexibility for remote work

  • Competitive salary range of $140,000-$160,000, commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based bonus potential
