Description
Director of Sales- Foodservice Contract Management & GPO
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The Director of Sales (Contract Management & GPO) will act within Pilgrim's established business goals and objectives to plan, develop, and implement strategies to foster growth within the contract managed and group purchasing organization channels. This role will collaborate directly with the Sr. Director of CMC/GPO to create strategic, integrated customer business plans that will enhance our ability to capitalize on growth opportunities and mitigate risks. The Director will deliver on volume and financial objectives within targets.

Our ideal candidate will sit in a remote/home office.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop region to 15-25MM in Prepared business.
2. Serve as Subject Matter Expert within the channel, develop relationships with key accounts, manage brokers, and deliver KPIs.
3. Execute face-to-face sales & marketing strategies, attend industry shows, engage with leadership.
4. Develop bid & contract pipelines, execute cross-functionally to achieve results.
5. Engage in needs-based selling, provide solutions, and drive thought leadership.
6. Focus on core products, understand competitors, and provide internal feedback.
7. Manage contracts & pricing negotiations and revisions.
8. Use CRM and analytics to understand market performance and close gaps.
9. Forecast demand and coordinate with supply chain.
10. Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- >10 years of Foodservice Sales experience, preferably in GPO/CMC or NA Sales.
- Extensive Poultry knowledge.
- Proven relationship-building skills.
- Extensive travel (50%+).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform with or without accommodations.
- Willing to travel as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision after 60 days.
- Paid Time Off: Sick, Vacation, Holidays.
- 401(k): Company match after 1 year.
- Salary range: $150,000 - $180,000.
- Incentive pay via annual bonus.
