Summary of Position
As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies as designed by the VP of Commercial Operations, managing, motivating, and educating a team of sales professionals regarding Fulgent's business ethics and product knowledge. You will craft national and international sales plans specific to your region, supervise individuals across multiple business units, set sales goals and quotas, build sales plans, analyze data, assign sales training and territories, and mentor salespeople.
This role involves trend analysis, market monitoring, and result tracking. The Director of Sales must be numbers-oriented with strong math skills and well-developed business senses. You must be well informed about your markets to forecast sales and market shifts accurately.
