Job summary

Vista Veranda in Ravenna, OH seeks a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead occupancy growth and craft an exceptional resident experience. You’ll network, host events, give tours, and build lasting community relations.

You’ll design and execute annual sales plans, manage referral partnerships, and collaborate with leadership to ensure a seamless move-in process while driving census goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or communications.
• Three+ years of successful sales or marketing experience.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related fields preferred.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

What You'll Do

As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you'll lead all sales and occupancy initiatives for our community by:

• Driving occupancy through strategic sales and relationship-building
• Developing and executing an annual sales and marketing plan
• Building strong referral partnerships with hospitals, physicians, rehabilitation centers, senior organizations, and community partners
• Conducting tours that create an exceptional first impression and convert prospects into residents
• Following up consistently with leads to guide families through the decision-making process
• Planning and hosting community events, educational programs, and networking opportunities
• Creating marketing materials, newsletters, advertising campaigns, and social media content
• Representing Vista Veranda at community events, networking groups, and outreach opportunities
• Working closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to ensure a seamless move-in experience
• Monitoring occupancy trends and developing strategies to achieve census goals
• Managing the department budget and marketing initiatives
• Helping strengthen Vista Veranda's reputation as a premier senior living community in the area

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is passionate about people and knows how to build lasting relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Three or more years of successful sales or marketing experience
• Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, or relationship-based sales experience preferred
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Strong networking and community outreach abilities
• Excellent organization and follow-up skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
