Job summary

INSPIRE is seeking a Director of Sales to work at the Chi Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. You will lead the Sales team to achieve goals and ensure seamless live event management with outstanding client care.

The role focuses on growing client partnerships, approving proposals, coordinating with hotel sales, and guiding event technology operations to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the INSPIRE Sales team to grow and perform.
• Develop rapport with existing clients and partner with the hotel sales team.
• Approve sales proposals.
• Manage client interactions and attend site/planning visits.
• Oversee event technology coverage as needed.
• Protect INSPIRE and hotel profitability and setup interests.
• Attend preconference client meetings.
• Mentor the sales team with accountability.
• Maintain key relationships with the convention center with quarterly reviews.

Job Summary

The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the Sales team to meet their departmental goals and to support the overall INSPIRE team to manage live events at the Chi Health Center seamlessly and with an exceptional level of care

Summary Of Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for the INSPIRE Sales team’s growth and performance
• Develop a strong rapport with existing INSPIRE clients and capture new business through partnership with the hotel sales team
• Approve sales proposals
• Manage client interactions, e.g., support clients directly, assist the Sales Team with proposals, attend site and planning visits
• Manage event technology, as necessary, e.g., provide coverage for the Sales Team if they are away
• Protect the best interests of INSPIRE and the hotel, e.g., support with event setup, profitability, and provide team support
• Attend preconference meetings with clients
• Mentor the INSPIRE Sales Team with support and accountability
• Maintain excellent sales relationship with the convention center; provide accountability to the convention center including quarterly sales review, capture rate, etc
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Previous leadership experience managing a team
• 3-5 years of event technology sales experience
• Proven record of sales performance growth and revenue totals while in a sales leadership position
• Previous event hospitality sales experience
• Professional demeanor
• Ability to build trust and relationships with clients, internal team, and property leadership
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends, as business needs dictate
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
