Job summary

Arts for Learning Maryland seeks an OST Director of SALA/Afterschool to lead operations, site execution, and staff readiness across SALA and afterschool programs. Reporting to the Deputy Chief of OST, this exempt role oversees quality, family engagement, and data integrity while maintaining strong school partnerships.

The position requires 3+ years managing large youth programs, 2+ years supervising staff, and proficiency with Salesforce/CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent leadership experience.
• 3+ years managing large-scale youth programs, OST, or summer camps.
• 2+ years supervising full-time administrative staff or coordinators.
• Experience with local school district policies and MSDE regulations.
• Proficiency with data-driven software/CRM (Salesforce, Google Workspace, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle operations for SALA and Afterschool sites.
• Supervise the SALA Coordinator and manage site logistics.
• Oversee site logistics, supplies, and administration.
• Conduct site QA visits to ensure quality and fidelity to models.
• Maintain partnerships with host principals and site leadership.
• Allocate ~30% of time to broader OST programming and events.
• Oversee data collection tools across SALA sites.
• Oversee attendance data and reporting pipelines in Salesforce.
• Direct family engagement strategies and recruitment processes.
• Collaborate to ensure staff PD and leadership training.
• Manage program budgets, MOUs, and vendor quotes.
