Job summary

Belmont Charter Network in Philadelphia is seeking a Director of OST to lead the vision and compliance of before- and after-school programs, including summer operations. You will hire, supervise, and develop part-time staff, manage grants and partnerships, and promote high-quality, trauma-informed youth programming.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Child Development or Education and several years of direct supervision of school-age students, plus experience in after-school/daycare settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Education preferred.
• 3 years direct supervision of school-age students.
• 2 years supervisory role in an after school/daycare environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of State licensing regulations for a Daycare Center, 21st Century Learning Center grants, ELRC, and/or PHMC OST grants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: Set the vision for daily out-of-school time programming for the site, including summer programming and breaks.
• Staff Management: Lead coordinators and part-time after-school program staff; hire and train.
• Grant and Compliance: Oversee grants, audits, enrollment goals, and staff files.
• Site Operations: Lead annual budget planning, invoices, supply orders, and communications with parents and partners.
