This role oversees program development, budget, and collaboration with member systems, ensuring safety standards, incident analysis, and national safety program coordination with RESAP and COLT.

Qualifikationen

• Ten years of experience in safety training and loss prevention within the electric industry.
• Minimum of three years as an instructor in Safety Training and Loss Prevention.
• Seven years as a journeyman or first class lineman preferred.
• Work experience with an electric cooperative highly desired.
• Related education or experience may substitute part of the requirements.

Aufgaben

• Develops and implements safety training and related procedures.
• Oversees regulatory compliance training initiatives.
• Leads the COLT program training for apprentices and journeymen.
• Coordinates RESAP and statewide safety program activities.
• Develops annual work plans and budgets for Safety Training & Loss Prevention.
• Maintains current knowledge of federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations.
• Represents the company with safety groups and programs as needed.
• Coordinates and guides safety strategies for in-house operations.
