Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking an experienced Risk Director to lead our facility's risk management and safety programs. You will oversee incident investigations, drive compliance with applicable laws, and collaborate with multiple departments to identify and mitigate risks while promoting a culture of safety for patients, staff, and visitors.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to implement a comprehensive risk program across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a clinical healthcare, risk management, business, finance, or related field.
• Two or more years of experience in a risk management position.
• One or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with regulatory surveys (CARF, DEA, Joint Commission, or CMS) as required by service lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility's risk management program and promote a culture of safety.
• Oversee incident investigations and collaborate with Legal to assess liability.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulatory agencies.
• Develop proactive strategies to prevent harm and liabilities.
• Coordinate with departments to identify high-risk areas and staff training needs.
