Job summary

Guggenheim Retail Real Estate Partners in Frisco, TX is seeking a Director of Development and Construction to oversee the site development of multiple retail and commercial projects. This on-site role reports to the Senior VP of Development and Construction.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure timely project delivery from entitlement through construction completion. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Project and/or Construction Management preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in development and construction of retail/commercial buildings.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and project management software such as Expesite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entitlement process from start to construction and engage consultants as needed.
• Create preliminary budgets for all projects.
• Create and manage overall schedules for all projects.
• Oversee design for sites including architectural, civil, landscape, and signage.
• Manage reporting of milestones and costs through completion of construction.
• Coordinate with outside consultants (geotech, environmental engineers, architects, surveyors).
• Travel as required to support the project.
