Job summary

Guggenheim Retail Real Estate Partners in Frisco, TX is seeking a Director of Development and Construction to lead site development across multiple retail projects. The role is based on-site in Frisco and reports to the SVP of Development and Construction.

Responsibilities include entitlement management, budgeting, scheduling, design oversight, and coordinating with external consultants. Travel may be required to support projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Project and/or Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of development and construction experience on retail/commercial buildings.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entitlement process from start to construction.
• Create and manage preliminary budgets for all projects.
• Develop and manage overall project schedules.
• Oversee site design including architecture, civil, landscape, signage.
• Manage reporting and documentation using project management software.
• Coordinate with outside consultants (geotech, environmental engineers, architects, surveyors, sign vendors, attorneys).
• Travel as necessary to support projects.
