Job summary

Kindred Hospital Lima is seeking a Respiratory Therapy leader to oversee the department’s clinical operations and resources. You will administer therapies, ensure quality care, and oversee regulatory compliance across the respiratory services.

Ideal candidates have three years of respiratory care experience, a current RRT credential with CMP, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Leadership experience and ABG Lab management are preferred. This role is on-site at the Lima facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Administration preferred.
• Current Respiratory Therapy license from the appropriate state licensing body.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and CMP.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum three years of experience in respiratory care services.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Experience managing a Point of Care ABG Lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the hospital’s Respiratory Therapy Services.
• Plans, directs and monitors clinical operations, functions, and resources of the department.
• Administers respiratory therapy and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary issues.
• Performs diagnostic testing to aid in diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Manages staff hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Maintains equipment and supply management; ensures maintenance and repair compliance.
