Job summary

Capital Health seeks a Director of Respiratory Therapy to lead the strategic management and clinical excellence of respiratory care services. You will supervise staffing, budgeting, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance to maintain high-quality patient care.

The role requires 7+ years of acute care leadership, a Bachelor’s and Master’s (or current enrollment), and certification credentials. Salary ranges are provided with comprehensive benefits and 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and Masters degree or currently enrollment required.
• Seven years acute care therapy experience.
• Operational leadership experience in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Experience with policy development and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational, clinical, and administrative functions of Respiratory Care Services.
• Analyze and manage the department's financial performance within budgets.
• Plan, allocate, and authorize budgeted funds for operations and staffing.
• Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, Medical Staff and Nursing Leadership.
