HCA Healthcare is seeking a Director Resource Optimization Operations in Nashville to bridge analytics and execution across labor management, overhead, and productivity. You will partner with Finance, HR, and Performance Improvement leaders to identify value creation opportunities and drive practical, scalable actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in analytics, finance, performance improvement, healthcare operations, consulting, labor management, or enterprise transformation.
• Experience using large datasets to identify financial or operational improvement opportunities.
• Experience with benchmarking, productivity analysis, cost analysis, financial modeling, or operational performance tools.
• Experience preparing executive-level insights, dashboards, or analytical recommendations.
• Healthcare operations or health system experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads validation of enterprise value creation opportunities identified by the Resource Optimization Operations.
• Partners with leaders to evaluate feasibility, complexity, risk, and impact of initiatives.
• Applies operational knowledge to refine opportunity sizing and execution pathways.
• Supports labor and organizational design reviews across corporate and operating units.
• Identifies best practices and supports replication across facilities and functions.
• Assesses workflows, staffing models, spans and layers, role design, and fixed-cost structures.
• Collaborates with HR and leaders on organizational design, redundancy analysis, and labor governance.
• Develops recommendations balancing financial impact, operations continuity, and feasibility.
• Supports governance by preparing findings, risks, dependencies, and implementation plans.
• Facilitates sessions with owners to align scope, plans, ownership, and outcomes.
• Monitors early execution progress and handoffs to business leaders.
• Builds relationships with senior operators, finance leaders, and HR partners.
• Coaches team members on healthcare operations and practical implementation.
