Job summary

DDCN seeks an experienced Residential Director to oversee daily operation of residential homes, including support, consultation and staff supervision. You will lead with a holistic, person-centered approach, champion quality and compliance, and guide strategic direction for the department.

The role requires strong communication, budget management, and crisis handling skills. You’ll collaborate with community agencies and supervise diverse staff to realize the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public/business administration, social or behavioral sciences or closely related area with one year related experience.
• Alternatively four years of training/experience plus five years coordinating residential/community programs for ID/SD population.
• Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, staff development, and evaluation of assigned staff.
• Facilitate communication with external resources, internal support staff, direct reports and supervisor.
• Ensure documentation is completed and maintained monthly and yearly.
• Ensure compliance with ICF/ID regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor division budget and collaborate on budgeting and staffing.
• Oversee residential census with referrals, tours, and information sharing.
• Chair committees and plan short- and long-range goals.
• Develop and implement policies, services, and procedures.
