Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services’ Director of Residential Recovery Services leads clinical and administrative operations to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance. This exempt role oversees program budgets, staff supervision, and collaboration with HR and intake to meet organizational goals across multiple sites in Greater Boston and Southeast Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical psychology, education-counseling, medicine, mental health, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, or social work.
• Licensure as LADC I, LMHC, LICSW or other independent license preferred.
• At least five years in nonprofit behavioral health program management with direct staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead Residential Recovery Services operations and provide strategic direction to Program Directors.
• Train, mentor, and supervise Program Directors in management, service model, and staff relations.
• Collaborate with HR for recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
• Partner with intake and community organizations to streamline admissions and meet goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, accreditation, licensing, and contracts.
• Maintain high-quality clinical programming, case management, and outcomes.
• Monitor budgets, revenue, expenses, and billing practices for financial sustainability.
• Represent Residential Recovery Services at agency meetings and with funding/regulatory bodies.
• Provide program and clinical oversight during leadership vacancies or absences.
