Belmont Village is seeking a Director of Resident Care Services in a Houston-area assisted living and memory care community. Lead Nursing and Care teams, conduct clinical assessments, oversee medication administration, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will tailor service plans to residents with the support of Regional and Corporate teams.

The role emphasizes nursing management experience in large-scale senior living, collaboration, and a passion for learning, leading, and inspiring others.

Qualifications

• Active LVN, LPN or RN license required.
• Minimum two years nursing managerial experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living, Memory Care or Senior Living community.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, & customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall compliance of clinical services & programs including accuracy of medication administration.
• Collaborates with physician offices, ancillary services, responsible parties and internal care teams to deliver quality resident care.
• Completes timely resident assessments and develops/initiates the care and service plan.
• Supports and assists in day-to-day care and clinical needs as needed.
• Conducts interviewing and hiring, evaluates employee performance, provides coaching and training, and delegates assignments for all direct reports.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director of Resident Care Services, you will lead the Nursing and Care teams in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting clinical assessments, overseeing the medication administration program, leading licensed nursing and care teams, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Serving as the Director of Nursing and the liaison for residents, families, and staff, you’ll tailor service plans to individual resident needs. Supported by our experienced Regional and Corporate teams, you’ll help cultivate a culture of collaboration and excellence in care and hospitality. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for overall compliance of clinical services & programs including accuracy of medication administration
• Works collaboratively and facilitates communication with physician offices, ancillary services, responsible parties and internal care teams to deliver quality resident care
• Works efficiently to complete timely resident assessments and to develop and initiate the care and service plan

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Active LVN, LPN or RN license required
• Minimum two years nursing managerial experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Assisted Living (AL) , Memory Care (ALZ) or Senior Living community
• Successful demonstration of exceptional organizational, communication, & customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules in 24 hour operation including weekends as needed
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
