Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed or registered by the state where practicing as an Activities Director.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities program to meet social, psychosocial, and therapeutic needs.
• Schedule activities, ensuring cognitive, recreational, and ADL activities daily.
• Ensure resident safety during activities.
• Establish and oversee the Resident Council and document minutes.
• Perform administrative functions including staff orientation and evaluations.
• Oversee the facility's volunteer program and supervise student practices.
• Monitor services provided by the Beauty Shop Operators.
