Harvard-Gardens-Rehabilitation- in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Activity Director to design and run a meaningful, person-centered activity program that meets social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive needs of all residents, from independent to advanced dementia.

You will assess residents, plan monthly calendars, lead activities, recruit volunteers, manage budget and document participation, ensuring high-quality engagement and community connections.

Competenze

• Activity Director certification (ADC or NCCAP) as required by state.

• Assess each resident’s interests, history, and preferences; contribute to care plans.
• Plan and post a monthly activity calendar that addresses physical, social, cognitive, creative, spiritual, and community needs.
• Lead and supervise group and individual activities, including small-group programming for residents with dementia.
• Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers; coordinate community partnerships.
• Manage the activity budget, supplies, and outings (including transportation logistics).
• Document participation and response in the resident record.
