Job summary

Boar’s Head Resort seeks a Director of Residence to provide executive-level leadership for Birdwood Mansion’s hotel, dining, catering, and banquet operations. You will align with Boar’s Head standards, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional guest experiences through proactive leadership and collaboration with resort leadership and shared services.

Responsibilities include overseeing staffing, scheduling, guest services, pre-arrival planning, and coordination of resort amenities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in hotel operations, fine dining, and banquet management.
• Minimum 5–8 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, mentor, and develop team members.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and consistently high service standards.

The Director of Residence provides executive-level operational leadership for Birdwood Mansion, overseeing all hotel, dining, catering, and banquet operations in alignment with Boar’s Head Resort standards. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role drives revenue growth, operational excellence, and exceptional guest experiences through proactive leadership, team development, and collaboration with resort leadership and shared services.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, household management, guest services, pre-arrival planning, and coordination of golf, wellness, and other resort amenities. The Director of Residence also manages staffing, scheduling, coaching, and performance expectations while ensuring consistent service standards, financial performance, and guest satisfaction across all areas of the residence.
