• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy with a BS degree.
• Must hold current licensure in OT, PT, or SLP.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience and two–three years of leadership.

• Assumes ultimate responsibility for rehabilitation service operations within the assigned region.
• Ensures quality and cost-effective delivery of therapy services to meet patient and staff expectations.
• Mentors and trains new Directors of Rehab to ensure consistency of quality rehab services across the region.
• Provides adequate coverage of therapy services in all facilities in the region.
• Plans, organizes and directs operational activities; implements system-wide strategic initiatives.
• Aligns the organization’s strategic plan with rehabilitation operations.
• Reviews the quality and effectiveness of therapy programs using predetermined criteria.
• Develops high-quality, cost-effective clinical programs within areas of responsibility.
• Manages all aspects of service line programs, including patient satisfaction and performance improvement.
• Fosters collaboration between facility departments, clinical staff leadership and affiliates.
• Develops strategic plans to forecast revenues, expenses and capital needs for service lines.
• Develops and manages annual budgets and conducts cost/productivity analysis.
• Develops new business strategies to grow market share and improve performance.
• Markets service lines to physicians and the community to achieve volumes and growth.
• Leads with management to improve utilization and quality goals.
• Establishes policies for compliance and oversees licensure surveys.
