Job summary

The Shore and Country Club is seeking an experienced Director of Racquets to lead tennis and pickleball programs, enhance member engagement, and drive a high-service racquets operation. The role combines program development, staff leadership, budgeting, and collaboration with club departments.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for racquet sports, strong leadership, and a hospitality-driven approach. The position offers seasonal scheduling and competitive compensation aligned with experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of progressive experience in tennis or racquets operations, instruction, programming, or management, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading tennis and pickleball programs in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong ability to recruit, develop, and lead racquets professionals and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the racquets department, including tennis and pickleball programs, events, and junior development.
• Develop annual racquets calendar, budgets, and promotions; monitor revenues and expenses.
• Oversee pro shop operations, equipment maintenance, and service standards.
• Collaborate with F&B and Facilities to support events and court maintenance.
• Present updates at Racquets Committee and Senior Management meetings.
