Job summary

Plexus Corp. is looking for a Director of Quality to lead the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) across applicable standards and regulations. You will foster a culture of quality, guide the quality and regulatory teams, and collaborate with site leadership to deliver defect-free designs and products.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of related experience and involves travel of less than 25% to support regional and site quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to represent Plexus Corp.
• Must be able to build collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, especially executive management.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and strategic direction: Define regional strategies to align quality processes, organizational capability and culture to meet and exceed customer needs.
• Evaluation and execution - provide direction to Quality Managers using metrics and data analysis to identify and deploy best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Zero Defect: define strategy and execution to drive towards achieving Zero Defects by ensuring products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Continuous Improvement: drive problem solving tools and CAPA across region; lead QA, supplier quality and QMS/regulatory teams to improve quality, cost and delivery.
• Lead and coach team development and succession for Plexus core values.
