Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois seeks an experienced leader to direct the site ISO 9001 Quality Management System and oversee performance improvement initiatives. You will coordinate accreditation activities and serve as the hospital management representative for surveys.

You will also supervise HR functions, contract and document management, and budgeting while ensuring compliance with ethical conduct and regulatory requirements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field.
• 7 years in quality improvement, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Advanced knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Clinical knowledge of care processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Directs and plans site clinical and admin functions of the ISO9001 Quality Management System.
• Monitors performance improvement activity per safety and health priorities.
• Leads external agency visits, accreditation surveys, and investigations.
• Prepares for DNV and ISO surveys as hospital management representative.
• Oversees peer review for physicians and APCs including OPPE/FPPE data.
• Oversees hospital contract management and evaluation processes.
• Manages document control, policies, and scope of service.
• Performs HR duties: hiring, promotions, evaluations, and staff morale.
• Develops operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures.
• Ensures compliance with Code of Ethical Conduct and applicable laws.
