Job summary

Shoals Technologies Group, a leader in EBOS solutions for solar and energy storage, is seeking a Director of Quality. This role will own enterprise-wide quality strategy, oversee multiple manufacturing sites, drive continuous improvement, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.

You will lead and develop site Quality teams and partner across Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain. The position requires extensive quality leadership experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required; Master's degree a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive quality experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years in a quality leadership role, across multiple sites.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001; UL/IEC experience preferred.
• Expertise in FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, 8D, CAPA, root cause analysis, APQP.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide quality strategy and standards across all sites.
• Maintain ISO 9001 certification and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and coach site Quality Managers and Engineers across facilities.
• Standardize processes, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Own supplier quality strategy including audits and SCAR processes.
• Lead CAPA, 8D problem solving, and root cause investigations.
• Manage quality relations with customers and communicate corrective actions.
• Oversee internal/external audits and budget for quality department.
• Travel regularly to sites to provide hands-on leadership.
