Job summary

OneStream Software is seeking a Director of Quality Engineering to lead an automation-first, AI-enabled QE program within our CPM platform. You will drive quality strategy across Engineering, Product, Cloud, Security, and Customer Success and translate it into practical execution to improve release confidence and reduce defects.

The role requires senior, hands-on leadership with deep experience in QE, automation, and data-driven quality insights.

Qualifications

12+ years in software quality engineering, test automation, or related tech disciplines.
7+ years leading QE teams, managers, or senior technical talent.
Proven track record improving QE strategy, automation frameworks, CI/CD quality practices, and release governance.
Experience implementing or advancing AI-assisted testing workflows with measurable impact.
Hands-on depth: automation frameworks, quality data analysis.
Familiarity with CPM, EPM platforms, data workflows.
Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Define and refine QE strategy, governance, and metrics for complex enterprise SaaS and CPM platform delivery.
Embed quality ownership earlier in the SDLC to shift from traditional QA to modern QE.
Lead QE teams, ensuring a culture of engineering excellence and accountability.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Cloud, Security, DevOps, and Customer Success on quality priorities.
Define quality gates and release standards tied to business impact and risk mitigation.
Provide visibility into release readiness and quality trends through dashboards.
