A leading healthcare organization seeks a Director of Quality and Risk Management to oversee departmental activities focused on improving patient safety and quality of care. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with a degree in nursing and significant experience in quality management and regulatory compliance. You will lead risk management efforts, ensure compliance with standards, and improve healthcare delivery for our patients.

Overview
Direction of Quality and Risk Management Department activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. • Leadership of the Risk Management activities including managing claims against the facility; interfacing with corporate compliance department and legal counsel; interacting with patients, medical staff and hospital staff to resolve complaints; administering the risk management program on a day-to-day basis; managing and analyzing the risk management data; overseeing the patient safety programs in order to maintain an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health errors. • Directing quality management activities which will include performance improvement, quality review, DNV survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and coordination of efforts to meet achievement thresholds for CMS IPFQR and other regulatory programs as indicated
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing with unencumbered Registered Nursing license in the State of Tennessee, with a minimum of two years of experience in Quality, Risk, Regulatory Compliance, and/or Performance Improvement.
*Advanced capability in Microsoft Office Suite.
*Previous experience in quality metric and data analytics in the healthcare setting.
