Job summary

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa is seeking a Director of Purchasing to lead the hotel’s purchasing and receiving function, ensure policy adherence, and work closely with guests, departments and team members to maintain service excellence.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $81,500 to $110,000 and a benefits package including tuition reimbursement, health insurance, retirement options, paid time off and hotel room nights.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
• Proficient in basic comupter skills and Birchstreet
• At least 2 years in a similar leadership role required

Responsibilities

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach and Spa is a large complex of 1230 rooms and currently looking for a Director of Purchasing to join our team. This role will be responsible for the overall direction of the purchasing and receiving function for the hotel, as well as, ensuring all specified guidelines and policies are met. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively interact with guests, other departments, and team members.
