Job summary

Samaritan Health Plans is seeking a Director of Provider Contracting to lead the Provider Contracting Department within the Finance division. You will oversee contract development, negotiation, reimbursement methodology design, and contract lifecycle management across lines of business.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years in provider contracting, 2+ years leadership, and experience with Medicaid/Medicare contracts, regulatory requirements, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's preferred.
• Seven (7) years of experience in provider contracting, reimbursement strategy, or healthcare finance, including two (2) years of leadership experience.
• Experience in reimbursement methodologies, financial modeling, and healthcare regulatory requirements (Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, Commercial).
• Experience negotiating with hospitals, physician groups, ancillary providers, and health systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, financial oversight, and operational management of the Provider Contracting Department within SHP's Finance division.
• Oversee contract development, negotiation, reimbursement methodology design, and contract lifecycle management across applicable lines of business.
• Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, Legal, and Compliance to align with financial objectives and regulatory requirements.
