American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) in New York City seeks a strategic Director of Research & Prospect Management to lead research, portfolio strategy, and pipeline development within Advancement. This role reports to the Vice President, Advancement Operations and Strategy and supervises two direct reports.

The Director partners with Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Principal Gifts, Corporate Relations, Events, and Services to ensure data-informed fundraising strategy and proactive prospecting

Competenze

• 10+ years in prospect research and portfolio management.
• 4+ years of management experience.
• Experience with financial databases and reviewing 990s.
• Familiarity with Raiser's Edge NXT and wealth screening tools.
• Strong writing, analytics, and communication skills.
