Job summary

ByteBridge in Hayward, CA seeks an experienced Director of Project Management to lead the US Project Management and Coordination Team and ensure delivery of complex infrastructure, deployment, and customer implementation projects.

The role will establish standards, develop scalable processes, mentor PMs, and serve as an executive point of contact for strategic customers, with onsite preference.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and mentor PMs and coordinators.
• Experience managing large-scale data center, infrastructure, or mission-critical programs.
• Strong project management across scope, schedule, budget, risk, resources and quality.
• Experience managing customer relationships and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication.
• Experience with project financial management, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop staffing plans, balance workloads, and support PM recruiting and onboarding.
• Drive project quality, lessons learned, and process improvements.

We’re seeking an experienced Director of Project Management to lead our US Project Management and Coordination Team and ensure successful delivery of complex infrastructure, deployment, and customer implementation projects. This role will establish project management standards, develop scalable processes, mentor PMs and coordinators, and serve as an executive point of contact for strategic customers.

Location: Onsite (Preferred) - Hayward, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Project Management and Coordination Team.
• Establish project management standards, processes, governance, and reporting.
• Oversee multiple customer programs from initiation through closeout.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to expected quality standards.
• Lead executive project reviews and customer status meetings.
• Build strong relationships with strategic customers and manage escalations, scope changes, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Service Delivery, Field Operations, Finance, and Sales.
• Own project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, margins, resource utilization, and change orders.
• Develop staffing plans, balance project workloads, and support PM recruiting and onboarding.
• Drive project quality, lessons learned, process improvement, documentation, and project controls.
• Develop project KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale data center, infrastructure, technology deployment, or mission-critical construction programs.
• Leadership experience managing project managers, coordinators, or similar project delivery teams.
• Strong project management skills across scope, schedule, budget, risk, resources, and quality.
• Proven experience managing customer relationships and executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with project financial management, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Up to 25% travel required.
