MY Project USA in Columbus, Ohio seeks a Director of Programs & Operations to strengthen social enterprises, oversee multiple programs, and drive revenue-generating models while leading staff and volunteers.

You will partner with the CEO to improve operations, ensure financial accountability, and measure impact across youth and communities in Central Ohio; this is a full-time onsite role with schedule expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, or related field.
• 5+ years in nonprofit program management, operations, or leadership.
• Experience growing revenue or improving financial performance.
• Experience leading multiple programs or departments.
• Budgeting, grants, compliance, reporting experience.
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate existing programs and develop plans to improve revenue, growth, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Strengthen cafe/retail/social enterprises operations, staffing, expenses, and profitability.
• Expand thrift store, inventory management, pricing, merchandising, and customer development.
• Grow revenue from events, rentals, and other revenue-generating activities.
• Develop revenue opportunities using facilities, donated inventory, and existing resources.
• Hire, supervise, coach, and hold staff and volunteers accountable for execution.
• Provide leadership across programs, departments, and social enterprises.
• Support CEO on day-to-day operations and long-term priorities.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, grant requirements, and reporting deadlines.
• Develop improved systems for reporting, accountability, and financial controls.
• Coordinate with program leads to resolve operational challenges and strengthen outcomes.
• Support grant administration and compliance across programs.
• Build relationships with customers, schools, funders, partners, and volunteers.
• Represent MY Project USA at meetings, events, and partnerships.
