Job summary

Innovasea is seeking a Director of Product to lead the strategy and roadmap for its aquaculture technology portfolio, translating customer needs, market opportunities, and technical capabilities into products that improve fish health and production outcomes.

You will guide a cross-functional team of sales, marketing, architects, software developers, and engineers from concept to launch, and shape the product operating model and governance across hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of product management experience.
• Experience driving product development through discovery, roadmap planning, development, launch, and post-launch iteration.
• 10+ years leading product organizations responsible for both hardware and software products, including cloud/SaaS platforms, connected devices, and data-driven solutions.
• Experience building or transforming Product Management organizations, including team design, governance, roadmap management, and portfolio prioritization.
• Demonstrated success leading complex multi-disciplinary product portfolios that span engineering, software, operations, and commercialization functions
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, engineering, and software development teams.
• Ability to travel to domestic and international events in the US and Europe as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and software product teams and define operating models.
• Define and implement a product operating model and organizational structure.
• Manage a portfolio of products across maturities and technologies.
• Mentor Product Managers/Owners and drive roadmap governance.
• Collaborate with Marketing to drive go-to-market strategies and training materials.
