Job summary

Aquabyte is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality across products, suppliers, and manufacturing operations. You will develop and maintain quality systems, lead root cause investigations, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.

Occasional travel to supplier and customer sites will be required to support quality initiatives and resolve field issues. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience and are proactive in identifying quality risks and implementing corrective actions, collaborating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years in hardware quality, reliability, or testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite, Power BI.
• Fluency in English; Norwegian required, Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and QA/QC procedures for components and assemblies.
• Lead production troubleshooting and failure analysis at the component and system levels.
• Lead customer and supplier audits; conduct internal and external quality audits and CAPA.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify quality risks and implement CAPA.
• Provide quality training and guidance to personnel and suppliers.
• Travel offsite to address quality issues as needed.
