Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Director of Product & Engineering to frame and drive strategic projects that support Private Brands growth. You will lead NPD opportunities and leverage your team to support Merchandising and product development.

You will coach talent, oversee value engineering and costing models, and coordinate strategies to expand Product and Engineering support for PB growth. This is a senior leadership role with 5 direct reports and travel expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive strategic Product and Engineering projects for PB growth.
• Lead category level New Product Development opportunities and support Merchandising and Product development.
• Coach and develop talent; upgrade the organization for growth.
• Oversee and prioritize development of Value Engineering Costing Models, Value Add and NPD work.
