Job summary

MITY Inc. in Orem, Utah is seeking a Director of Product Development to lead product strategy, roadmap execution, and the development process.

This in-office role collaborates with engineering, design, marketing, supply chain, sales, and operations to align initiatives with customer needs and profitability goals. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management or related roles, with prior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management or related role (preferred).
• Experience leading a product team or senior-level strategy is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, product management, marketing, engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of product managers with direction and accountability.
• Own and improve the product development stage gate process to speed time-to-market.
• Develop and execute a product roadmap aligned with strategy, customer needs, revenue growth, and operations.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Partner with engineering, design, marketing, supply chain, sales, and operations to define requirements and prioritize features.
• Drive profitability, market competitiveness, and revenue growth through product opportunities and market insights.
• Prepare and present product updates, progress, and training to senior leaders and groups.
• Conduct market and product research including travel to trade shows and customer visits.
• Stay current on industry trends and competitive products affecting strategy.
