Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Summit Search is partnered with a PE backed B2B SaaS company, looking to hire their first Director of Product, to lead & scale the next phase of their SaaS product suite.

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial product leader to own the product

vision, strategy, and execution across the SaaS platform. You will report to the CTO and

partner closely with the CEO, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to

deliver solutions that drive customer value and business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Translate company vision into a long-term product strategy and multi-year roadmap.

● Own product prioritization and tradeoffs based on business impact, customer needs,

and market dynamics.

● Drive customer discovery and market research to deeply understand user needs,

emerging trends, and competitive landscape.

● Establish and monitor key product metrics, KPIs, and success criteria.

● Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality products on time

and on budget.

● Build scalable product processes, including roadmap planning, release

management, product launch, and post-launch iteration.

● Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on product positioning,

packaging, pricing, internal training, and customer onboarding.

● Serve as a key voice of the customer internally and externally, including client

meetings, webinars, advisory boards, and industry conferences or participation in

other events.

● Act as an executive-level thought partner to CTO and CEO; communicate product

plans to the leadership team, board, international resellers, and key customers.

● Collaborate to identify and develop product marketing content, timing,

communications, and media.

● Build and scale a small product organization as needs evolve (initially an individual

contributor leadership role).

REQUIREMENTS

● 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years in a SaaS product

leadership role.

● Demonstrated experience owning full product lifecycle from ideation through

launch and iteration.

● Strong customer discovery skills; comfortable directly engaging customers and

● Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

● Experience working directly with executive leadership and influencing

● Experience in GIS, asset management systems, urban forestry, arboriculture,

environment, municipal government, or related domains is a significant plus.

● Passion for trees, nature, and urban environmental stewardship.

● Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and visual.

● High comfort level operating in a small company, hands-on, fast-paced environment.
