Job summary

NEO Energy seeks a Procurement Director to lead the procurement function for a fast-growing renewable energy platform across the United States. You'll own electrical materials procurement for utility-scale solar, BESS, and electrical infrastructure projects, and shape supplier relationships.

You will build and scale the team, partner with Estimating, Operations and Project Management to secure pricing, availability and on-time delivery, and develop scalable procurement processes for

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement experience in electrical construction, renewables, EPC, T&D or related infrastructure.
• Deep electrical procurement expertise in consumables, tooling, subcontracted services and project-critical materials.
• Established supplier network across MV/DC and high-voltage electrical equipment; strong relationships with transformer, inverter, switchgear and cable suppliers valued.
• Proven team builder with experience hiring, developing and scaling procurement teams in high-growth environments.
• Commercially driven leader who can operate strategically at executive level while remaining hands-on with projects and suppliers.

NEO are seeking a Procurement Director to build and lead the procurement function for a rapidly growing renewable energy platform delivering utility-scale solar, BESS and electrical infrastructure projects across the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build the procurement function from the ground up — own contracted services, electrical consumables, tooling, purchasing and PO creation.
• Own strategic supplier relationships across electrical materials, MV/DC equipment, transformers, inverters, switchgear, cable and other critical/long-lead equipment.
• Build the team — hire and develop Procurement Managers and Buyers
• Drive project performance — partner directly with Estimating, Operations and Project Management to secure pricing, availability and materials that protect cost and schedule.
• Build for scale — develop the procurement infrastructure required to support Solar, BESS, T&D and future mission-critical/C&I growth.

REQUIREMENTS
