Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in process engineering, automation, instrumentation, or process control in a complex industrial environment.
• At least 5 years of engineering leadership or team management experience.
• Experience supporting and delivering large-scale capital projects.
• Knowledge of advanced process control, plant optimisation, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering, automation and instrumentation across multiple large-scale capital projects.
• Develop engineering strategies, standards and best practices aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee process design, plant optimisation, throughput, recovery and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams, allocating resources across concurrent projects.
• Provide technical oversight throughout design, construction, commissioning and start-up.
• Drive process safety, risk management and compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
• Oversee instrumentation and control system strategies, including DCS, PLC and SCADA integration.
• Champion advanced process control, digital technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations, project delivery teams and external engineering contractors to achieve safety, cost, schedule and performance objectives.

• Experience within mining, metals, oil and gas, or chemical processing.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM contractors and major project delivery.
• Knowledge of advanced process control, plant optimisation and digital transformation.
• A Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
