Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd seeks a seasoned Private Client Producer and Broker to establish and lead a dedicated Private Client / High Net Worth vertical. You will continue to manage your own book while building the strategy, strengthening carrier relationships and driving referrals across the firm.

You will shape the division, collaborate with current Producers, and have the autonomy to influence hiring and growth as the vertical expands.

We are representing a well-established, Top 50 US independent insurance broker that is entering an exciting new phase of growth within the Private Client / High Net Worth market.

The business already has a strong underlying personal lines and commercial operation, a decent private client, client base and deep relationships across the insurance market. They now want to elevate their Private Client proposition and are looking for an experienced Producer to come in and take ownership of the vertical.

You will be the individual responsible for helping shape what Private Client looks like within the organization, producing from the front, developing the strategy, strengthening carrier relationships, identifying referral opportunities and ultimately building out the team around you.

The opportunity

• Lead the development of a dedicated Private Client / High Net Worth vertical
• Continue to produce and develop your own book of business
• Build the strategy, proposition and market relationships for the division
• Leverage an established commercial and personal lines platform to generate internal referrals
• Develop relationships with affluent individuals, families, business owners and HNW clients
• Work closely with existing Producers and teams to identify cross-selling opportunities
• Have the autonomy to influence future hiring, structure and growth
• Become the recognised Private Client leader within the organisation as the division develops

The business is employee-owned, independently operated and has built its reputation over many years without the constant disruption and layers of bureaucracy often associated with large corporate brokers.

We are able to consider individuals from across the country however have a preference for the North East or South East.

This could suit someone who is already a Private Client / High Net Worth Producer but feels they have reached the ceiling of what they can build within their current organization.
