This leader will drive growth, shape market strategy, and win high-value opportunities by connecting with major regional and national general contractors.

The role emphasizes early-design engagement, strong industry relationships, and a track record of securing significant commercial projects in diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Background in commercial specialty contracting, with related scopes (Division 7/9/10) preferred.
• Established relationships with major general contractors in Charlotte and the Southeast.
• Experience developing relationships, pursuing projects, negotiating opportunities, and winning work.
• Solid understanding of estimating, preconstruction, and the bidding process.
• Ability to engage general contractors at conceptual and early design stages.
• Experience with large commercial projects (data centers, manufacturing, healthcare).
• Strong communication, relationship-building, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic preconstruction and growth initiatives across the Charlotte market.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with major regional and national general contractors.
• Identify, pursue, and help secure large commercial opportunities.
• Engage with general contractors early in the design process (SD/DD).
• Lead and coordinate preconstruction efforts to turn opportunities into awarded projects.
• Expand the company's presence in data centers, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and sports/entertainment facilities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop market strategy and pursue high-value opportunities.
