Job summary

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in mechanical contracting preconstruction, estimating, or project management and can own each pursuit end-to-end. The role requires coordinating a cross-functional team, refining scope with clients and design partners, and developing cost estimates for HVAC and other mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in mechanical contracting preconstruction, estimating or PM.
• Experience leading cross-functional pursuit teams.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own each pursuit from acknowledgement to contract signing.
• Lead cross-functional pursuit team including estimating, engineering, ops.
• Develop and manage pursuit plans and bid schedules.
• Review designs for scope gaps and constructability.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Present options and negotiate terms with clients.
• Ensure timely, quality submissions and handoff to operations.
