Performance Foodservice in Richmond, VA seeks a senior category manager for Poultry who will drive sales, negotiate supplier programs and grow participation with strategic partners.

You will oversee rebates, coordinate with OpCos, train field teams, and lead vendor meetings at industry events while developing brand initiatives and ensuring quality standards.

The role requires 6–10 years in foodservice or related marketing with supervisory experience and a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and earned income objectives within the Poultry category and manage related marketing activities.
• Negotiate new and enhanced supplier programs and drive participation with strategic suppliers.
• Manage rebate tracking, payments to OpCos, and vendor performance updates.
• Develop and promote 'Performance' brands within managed categories and conduct product evaluations.
• Coordinate with Operating Companies on market status, trends, and opportunities; lead vendor meetings and industry events.
