Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible project management experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, business operations, technology, or consulting settings.
• Experience supervising project management staff and leading cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain agency project management standards, governance expectations, templates, and lifecycle practices for agency-level projects.
• Direct portfolio intake, prioritization, and resource planning in partnership with senior leadership.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate project management staff; monitor caseload balance.
• Provide oversight and approval of charters, scopes, work plans, risk plans, and closeout documentation.
• Make director-level decisions within delegated authority and escalate issues as needed.
• Lead cross-functional steering groups and stakeholder discussions to maintain accountability.
• Monitor portfolio performance, KPIs, risks, issues, and benefits realization.
• Drive implementation and fidelity of PMO governance across the agency; ensure use of approved tools.
