Job summary

American Fidelity in Oklahoma City is seeking an on-site Senior Project Management leader to set the strategic vision for the PM function and drive execution across a portfolio of software development projects.

You will apply resource management, capacity planning, and enterprise portfolio prioritization to staff initiatives, align with strategic goals, and ensure governance and best practices are followed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in a matrix organization.
• Experience with Project Portfolio Management and Enterprise Architecture.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and align with strategic goals.
• Experience in insurance industry and AI governance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic vision for the Project Management function and drive execution.
• Staff software development projects using resource management and capacity planning.
• Oversee Enterprise Project Portfolio Prioritization and PPM governance.
• Communicate project health and status to stakeholders; troubleshoot to green status.
