Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Director of Product Management, Data Intelligence Foundation, to own the full PM layer across multiple engineering orgs. You’ll define and evolve the foundational primitives—Files, Ontology, Data Capabilities, Knowledge/Metadata, and the Query Plane—empowering AI-driven legal data intelligence across Relativity products.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in product management; 5+ years leading platform or infrastructure PM organizations.
• Deep fluency with data platform primitives, including storage systems, metadata layers, knowledge graphs, query engines, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Files / Natives: define storage substrate for legal documents and files with SLAs and API surface.
• Ontology / Relationship: define the semantic layer, entities, relationships, and contracts for shared vocabulary.
• Data Capabilities: build operational backbone for observability, auditability, and explainability.
• Knowledge / Metadata: create unified materialized document layer across workspaces for AI apps.
• Query Plane: unify retrieval with lexical + vector, chunking, and tiered storage.
